All the essential information you need in our FREE ADI Career Guide.
Before you can begin training as an ADI you must first be accepted by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). This requires meeting their registration criteria and passing a criminal records check.
Once you have successfully registered with the DVSA, you then need to train for and pass three exams. These are commonly called the Part1, Part 2 and Part 3 ADI tests.
These tests are not hard but you will need to undertake specialist training for them and be committed to your training.
